Periophthalmus modestus (mudskipper ) http://eol.org/pages/217822/overview provided by Martin Turon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJhUKzEq47U Thanks so much for your kindly comment and support :)You and share or like it as you like ^^If you like my work, please support me and follow on facebook ,more update photos will show onVision A Photography 彈塗魚(Periophthalmus modestus) 台灣俗名:狗甘仔、泥猴、花跳、花條 型態特徵:背鰭XIV-I , 12；臀鰭I , 11~12；胸鰭14；縱列鱗78~90；橫列鱗24~27；背鰭前鱗29~33。 體延長，側扁。背緣平直，腹面淺弧形，尾柄較長。頭部寬大，後方較側扁。吻短而圓鈍，斜直而隆起。眼較小，背側位，突出於背緣側。眼間距窄小，呈一凹溝狀。口寬大，平直。上頜較下頜前突。唇發達，軟而厚。 體部及頭背區均被有細小的圓鱗。第一背鰭較高，約呈三角形。第二背鰭及臀鰭未達尾鰭的基部。胸鰭末端略尖。尾鰭呈圓形。腹鰭癒合成一心形的吸盤，後緣微凹。 體色呈灰褐色調，腹面灰白。背鰭的近上緣處有一灰色帶；第二背鰭散布深色的斑點。體側具有4條模糊且向前斜下的灰黑色橫帶。 棲所生態:彈塗魚喜好棲息在河口、港灣、紅樹林溼地的鹹淡水域，或沿岸的淺水區及淺灘中。穴居性魚種。靠其胸鰭柄爬行及跳躍。主要以浮游生物、昆蟲及其他無脊椎動物為食，亦會刮食底棲的藻類。其族群在河川下游的分布區域，會隨著逕流量變化所造成的鹽度入侵之程度差異，而有明顯的遷移特性。 台灣分佈:台灣沿海的沙泥底質的沿岸水域中頗為普遍；通常有豐富的族群棲息在河口區、紅樹林溼地及港灣等地區。 最大體長:通常為3~6 公分之魚體較為普遍，最大體長約可達10公分
