The Tongue by Bruce Omori
A tongue of lava oozes out from beneath the recently cooled crust of a flow. The silica contained within, reflects the early morning sunlight, giving its surface a glassy sheen.

PLAOSAN TEMPLE (CANDI PLAOSAN) is a temple constructed by Rakai Pikatan for her wife, Pramudyawardani. The Plaosan Temple itself was built at the beginning of the 9th Century BC, about years of 842 AD. It has some uniqueness compared to other temples, namely its twin main temple and the terrace with smooth surface. The architect of the temple that is located in Bugisan village of Prambanan sub-district is combination of Hindu and Buddha.

Falls in Contrast by Chris Williams Exploration Photography
Falls in Contrast by Chris Williams Exploration Photography
I decided to head out to the falls last night to shoot the sunset and man was it worth it! The amount of water coming over the falls made it very difficult to obtain a dry shot. Just as the sun was setting, ...sunlight was entering the Snoqualmie River valley and illuminating the falls. The wind stopped, the mist subsided and a sweeping gorgeous rainbow formed. It was an unbelievable sight!Snoqualmie Falls, WA bathed in a gorgeous Spring sunset. 0.9 ND Filter https://www.facebook.com/ChrisWilliamsExplorationPhotography
