Unusual Catch : II by Nitin Prabhudesai

The Indian Pond Heron's feeding habitat is marshy wetlands. The primary food of these birds includes crustaceans, aquatic insects, fishes, tadpoles and sometimes leeches .Outside wetlands, these herons feed on insects including crickets, dragonflies. This is unusual indeed...A mouse. To be honest I was not prepared for this moment. Lucky to captured this unusual catch. Previous image : http://500px.com/photo/23199985Thanks & Regards.

Early morning sunlight over spring farmland in Oregon, April 2013. The mix of light, shadow and color in this scene really caught my eye. Everyone is probably thinking this is the Palouse of Washington, but I promise you this is Oregon. Thank you to everyone for all of the comments. I really appreciate them. Visit My Website

La voie Lactée, des brouillards de pente éclairés par les lumières de Saint Christophe en Oisans et le minuscule lac Miroir des Fétoules, plus petit lac nommé des Ecrins, reflétant le sommet éponyme dans une belle ambiance...

Fuji Five Lakes (富士五湖 Fuji-goko) is the name of the area located at the northern base of Mount Fuji about 1000 meters above sea level around the lakes Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Yamanakako, Shojiko and Motosuko in the Yamanashi prefecture of Japan. It is one of the best places to view Mount Fuji from a close distance and a good base for climbing the mountain.
