LET'S PADDLE ON THE GANGES RIVER TODAY, ALONG THE BANK OF THE HOLY CITY OF BENARES, NOW KNOWN AS VARANASI, IN INDIA. DAWN IS WHITER THAN GOOSEDOWN. THE MORNING IS FILLED IN JANUARY WITH A FOG, LIGHT AND THICK, NOT COLD, NOT HOT, AS A DAYDREAM SHOULD ALWAYS BE. SOMETIMES APPEAR THE GHATS WHERE WOMEN AND MEN PERFORM THEIR ABLUTIONS. SOMETIMES, NOTHING COMES DOWN TO DRESS THE WORLD IN ITS SEQUINED SUIT. USUALLY, YOUR OAR MEET A HULL IN WHICH PASSERS-BY WAIT TIME TO FLOW RATHER THAN SPACE TO MOVE. I SAW ALMOST NOTHING BEFORE PROCESSING. THE FOG WAS THAT THICK. JUST A TIP ABOUT THE WATER HORIZON, JUST A MEMORY ABOUT THE APPEARANCE OF THE CITY HERE, JUST A FEELING OF THE GULL PRESENCE. IT'S AN INTUITIVE PHOTO. .................................................................. HAPPY FRIDAY ALL AROUND! …...............................................................
