Animal of the wood by Meir Paz
Faces of the Eucalyptus “A typical characteristic of the eucalyptus tree is the peeling of the trunk during the winter months, caused by its rapid growth. This peeling is not uniform, so that strange and varied shapes are created on the surface of the tree, to which my imagination brought interesting connections Essentially what I did with the camera was to take part of the whole and transform it into an image by itself. Some of my pictures are an abstract view in which each of us can see according to his imagination, whereas in other pictures one sees aspects of anthropomorphism (personification) such as animals and human faces.”
