Guiding the way by Dmitri Fomin
This is Walton lighthouse in Santa Cruz, California. This particular morning the sky lit up in fire and I used a 10 stop ND filter with GND filters to capture the amazing colors. PS - WOW, thank you everyone for your comments and views. To answer one question in the comments (I have not figured out how to answer a person directly on this website - any tips :) ) - yes the 10 stop B+W filter does add warmth to the image, which is why I liked this one in particular. Another useful feature of the LE filter like this is that is let's the sensor soak up the color, even in low light conditions. This one was taken a couple of minutes before the sun showed up from behind the Santa Cruz mountains.
