Mountain Light by Ryan Dyar
Oregon's Mount Hood and Mirror Lake, seen here from high above on the summit of Tom, Dick, and Harry Mountain. A couple weeks ago I went through and reprocessed a bunch of my favorite older images to keep them up to date with my current tastes in style and feel. This is one of them. It's the fruit of many years worth of snowshoeing trips, winter backpacking, and face-stuffing at the Huckelberry Inn for breakfasts on said trips. It's still not EXACTLY what I want from here, but it's as close as I've gotten over the course of many years. This particular morning was on a solo backpacking trip I made and was one of the most fun solo runs I can remember.
