blending between the sunset and the skyline of Dubai marina.. the sunset photo was taken from another camera angle, but in the same hour to get the same sky color, then it was painted behind the skyline..the image quality is not good..I accidentally shot that day in jpeg format small size :( instead of raw...the image quality was spoiled through the post processing..and the result was full of jpeg artifacts..but still it was fine with me to share it here..

Definitely check this one out on black and in full screen. I haven't posted a Milky Way image in a long time and I've been sitting on this one for a few months for one reason or another. In any case this comes from a summer trip to the Oregon Sand Dunes back in July. Hopefully you guys enjoy this one as it's one of my new favorites, and yes this is named after Einstein's theory of relativity.

Carnic Alps stretch about 100 km along the Austrian-Italian border in the East Tyrol. On the Austrian side, beneath the highest peak Coglians / Hohe Warte (2782m) lies Wolayersee lake (1951m)

Waves have always had a enormous calming effect on me, spending my days in or around the ocean is my way of relieving stress and rejuvenating myself. My happy place :)

Sunset at Ermita de la Pertusa in Catalunya.
A beautiful spot where it's not really possible to move a lot. On each side of the foreground, the cliffs are vertical and there's just a small path to get up there that's not really easy, especially at night. Not a perfect spot for someone with vertigo like me haha
I got dizzy after staying there for sunset and blue hour so I was happy to get down at the end :)
I still have to process a huge pano (this one is not one) and a picture at blue hour with the moon in it ;)
Have a great evening!!
I post all kind of stuff (Behind the Scenes, Before/After and all my work of course) on my Facebook page

My today´s image is the product of many attempts in the magic location of Monsanto. I idealized this image about half year ago but only in last October (after many trips and trying) I finally had the conditions to make it.
Be in a 12th century historic location with a 13.4 billion years Milky Way as background makes us think about life and puts things in perspective. I really never thought that this kind of moment could have such deep impact in me. But it did in many ways. I´ve kept it in my HD during all this month waiting for a proper moment.
On the technical side, first of all this is a double exposure. I did many attempts with one exposure but it had always flaws, with the IQ suffering from parasite light, noise, among others. But eventually I got there with a double exposure of 10 seconds (ISO 400) for the foreground and 25 (ISO 3200) to the sky. Then enhanced the sky with curves, luminosity masks and processed the rest of the frame trying to get a bit of an ethereal mood. Also used a 12 led flash light for the foreground on location.
I hope that you like it and feel a bit of what it meant that evening to me. My other everlasting light are all of you, that give me so much support to my humble images. Thanks for all your warmth and support. Don´t forget to enjoy life, the small details each day because when we will gone this walk here should be worth it.
Happy shooting!

LAke Vrana, biggest lake on Croatian side of Adriatic coast. Situated less then 1,0 km from adriatic coast in middle Dalmatia. Lake is known for great variety of birds and fishes. Photo is taken in summer 2009 at early morning just before sun came out.

First snow in Dolomites. Nice morning after terrifying night in tent, when there was almost 6 hours long storm above our heads :)
